  • 225 g unsalted butter
  • 400 g sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 250 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • \u00bd tsp salt
  • 120 ml milk
  • 40 g unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a loaf pan with butter and flour.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together 1 cup (225 g) of unsalted butter and 2 cups (400 g) of sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in 4 large eggs, one at a time, ensuring each egg is well incorporated before adding the next.
  4. Add 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and mix well.
