Ingredients

  • 240g all-purpose flour
  • 150g granulated sugar
  • 5g baking powder
  • 5g baking soda
  • 2.5g salt
  • 120ml apple cider
  • 60ml vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 5ml vanilla extract
  • 100g granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 5g ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a doughnut pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine 240g of all-purpose flour, 150g of granulated sugar, 5g of baking powder, 5g of baking soda, and 2.5g of salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together 120ml of apple cider, 60ml of vegetable oil, 1 large egg, and 5ml of vanilla extract until well blended.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring just until combined.
  5. Carefully fill each doughnut mold about 2/3 full with the batter.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. In a shallow bowl, combine 100g of granulated sugar and 5g of ground cinnamon.
  9. While the doughnuts are still warm, coat each with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
