Ingredients

  • 200g black sesame paste
  • 200g sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 180g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 150ml milk
  • 300g fresh strawberries
  • 200g chocolate (for glaze)
  • 100ml cream (for glaze)
  • Toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and prepare two 8-inch round cake pans by greasing them and lining them with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine black sesame paste, sugar, and eggs, and whisk until smooth.
  3. Add the flour, baking powder, and milk to the mixture, and mix until just combined.
