  • 500ml milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 50g granulated sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1g saffron strands
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 100g granulated sugar (for pastry cream)
  • 30g cornstarch
  • 100g unsalted butter
  • Vanilla bean paste (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the saffron by infusing it in warm milk for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, eggs, milk, and sugar, then whisk until smooth.
