Ingredients

  • 250g all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 500ml milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 50g powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cherry blossom syrup
  • Chopped pistachios for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 250g of all-purpose flour, 3 tablespoons of sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk 500ml of milk, 4 large eggs, and 2 tablespoons of melted butter until smooth.
  3. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, adding 2 teaspoons of matcha powder until fully combined.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour a small amount of batter, swirling to cover the base evenly.
  5. Cook for about 1-2 minutes until the edges lift, then flip and cook for another minute. Repeat until all batter is used.
