  • 100g unsalted butter (cold)
  • 100g granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 500ml whole milk
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 40g cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla bean extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare a baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Add cold butter and blend until crumbly.
