Ingredients

  • 180g all-purpose flour
  • 30g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 100g granulated sugar
  • 115g unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
  • 1 large egg
  • 200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon ancho chili powder (plus extra for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Add cold cubed butter and mix until crumbly.
