Ingredients

  • 150g all-purpose flour
  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 50g granulated sugar
  • 200ml milk
  • 100ml heavy cream
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 40g granulated sugar (for custard)
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Gold flakes for garnish (optional)
