  • 250g all-purpose flour
  • 75g brown sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 60g cold butter, cubed
  • 50ml molasses
  • 1 large egg
  • 60ml milk
  • 100g powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
