Ingredients

  • 250g all-purpose flour
  • 75g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 350g granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 115g unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 240ml milk
  • 200g fresh raspberries
  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 200ml heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and prepare two 9-inch round cake pans with baking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk until fully combined.
