Ingredients

  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 100g almond flour
  • 100g unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 50g granulated sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons cold water
  • 500g fresh figs
  • 100g honey
  • 50g almond slices, toasted

Instructions

  1. Prepare the flaky almond crust by blending flour, almond flour, sugar, and butter until crumbly. Add cold water and mix until a dough forms. Chill for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Roll out the chilled dough and press it into a tart pan. Prick the bottom with a fork.
  3. Bake the crust for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool.
