Ingredients

  • 500g puff pastry
  • 4 medium apples
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 150g powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 2-3 tablespoons water (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to make it thinner.
  3. Cut the pastry into rectangles, about 10cm x 15cm.
  4. Prepare the apple filling by peeling, coring, and slicing the apples.
  5. Sauté the apple slices in a pan with sugar and cinnamon until they are tender.
