  • 30g sugar
  • 7g active dry yeast
  • 250ml warm milk
  • 100g unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 5g salt
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 100g sugar (for custard)
  • 25g cornstarch
  • 500ml milk (for custard)
  • 30g lemon verbena leaves
  • 100g powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 10ml lemon juice (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and salt, then mix well.
  3. Gradually incorporate the flour, kneading until a smooth dough forms.
