Ingredients

  • 200g puff pastry
  • 2 ripe pears
  • 50g unsalted butter
  • 50g brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh sage
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Roll out puff pastry and cut into small squares to fit tartlet pans.
  3. Arrange the pastry squares in the tartlet pans, pressing gently.
  4. Peel and slice the pears into thin wedges.
  5. In a skillet, melt butter and add brown sugar to create a caramel.
