Ingredients

  • 500g all-purpose flour
  • 10g salt
  • 7g dry yeast
  • 250ml warm water
  • 50ml olive oil
  • 100g cream cheese
  • 50g sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 50g olives, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) and grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a large bowl, combine 500 grams of all-purpose flour, 10 grams of salt, and 7 grams of dry yeast.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix 250 milliliters of warm water and 50 milliliters of olive oil.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a damp cloth. Let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  7. Roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1 cm thick on a floured surface.
  8. Spread 100 grams of cream cheese over the dough, followed by 50 grams of chopped sun-dried tomatoes and 50 grams of chopped olives.
  9. Roll the dough tightly from one end to the other to form a log.
  10. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  11. Let the scrolls rise for another 20-30 minutes.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
